I once knew a guy who did pretty well for himself through Tahitian Noni. But I know you've heard something like that before. Use an old dresser or bookcase on which to keep your office supplies, while keeping only a small stash on your desk or in the desk drawers. Everyone needs to take a break from their work periodically, and having the coffee pot in a separate room can force you to take a few minutes to clear your head. You identify what needs to be done from a financial sense and then you make sure to carry it out in a way that allows you to maintain the cost efficiency principle. Don't ever spend money in a business unless you expect to get money (or something as valuable as money) out of it; otherwise, what is the point of going into work from home business in the first place?
